The Omaha-Douglas Connection is the official web site of City of Omaha and Douglas County, Nebraska, 

This site is the entry point to services provided by these Metro Area municipalities. The buttons below the site banner organize the services by Residents, Visitors or Business.  The Government button will allow you to find services by city or county department and link you to other local government sites in the Metro area, the State of Nebraska and USA.gov. 

This home page will be used to communicate important city and county news and to link you to the most requested services.  Links to the City of Omaha and Douglas County home pages are found in the left navigation area.   These home pages will have city or county specific news items. 

We are still working on converting all the city and county departments to the new combined format so you will see improvements as time goes on.   We anticipate that by the end of this year, all the city and county content will be in this new format and you will see many new on-line services.  You will find on-line forms, ePayments and reporting tools that will improve how you conduct business with the city and county.
